Croyde, one of the most picturesque and popular villages in North Devon, nestles behind the sand dunes of Croyde Bay, famous as the surfing centre of the region. Five minutes walk along footpaths brings you to the beach.
Apart from the wide bay of golden sands, the area offers an extensive network of footpaths as well as access to more robust walking along the Devon and Somerset coastal path or Exmoor National Park only a short distance away.
Inland, Barnstaple is the regional centre for North Devon with extensive shopping and leisure facilities only nine miles from the village. Many other attractions are available in the area.
